How to Repurpose Your Blog Content
If you have a growing blog that’s gotten great feedback, it’s time to build upon your efforts without expending more. Use these seven awesome strategies to repurpose your blog content to drive maximum growth, get more engagement and achieve the most success!
Here’s the reality. With all the content out there on the web now, you don’t need to create more of it.
Not only will you exhaust yourself, but you will work yourself up into a state of entrepreneurial burnout.
Remember; a little bit of effort every day adds up to big results.
How many articles can you read after all about ‘how to start a blog?’ or ‘how to grow your Facebook following?’
But Google tells me I have to publish 16 articles a month to be relevant online!
It’s true that consistent publishing is key to growing and keeping an engaged audience. But! There are so many more ways to build your blog and business faster without driving yourself into overwhelm.
Today, we’ll show you seven of the top strategies for how to repurpose your blog content, by using the content that you’ve already written more power to expand your reach.
Let’s do this!
7 ways to repurpose your blog content
#1. Turn your blog posts into an eBook
Ever heard of regifting? Yup! The first way to repackage your blog content is to convert one of your most read blog posts into a handy dandy ebook.
If you’re curious about the popularity of eBooks, they’re currently expected to reach over $19.3 billion in annual revenue by 2024 due to post pandemic conditions.
All this to say, eBooks are currently a popular format and great option for repurposing your blog articles.
It’s easy to get started, simply take your most popular blog post and expand on it, adding to each topic with exclusive details, rich visuals, media, infographics and more.
Become a Self Published eBook Author Here!
Now, obviously one article won’t give you enough material for an entire eBook, especially when there are sites offering up free ebooks packed with content for free.
Not to fret! Search through your blog for supplementary content and pull from other related published posts.
Once you’ve done the bulk of the work (i.e., writing your ebook), you can format it using a tool in Google suite, MS Office, Canva, or even iBooks Author.
As you format your eBook, definitely include compelling images to help people grasp concepts with text.
People are attracted to video and illustrations 3x better than content without supporting visuals.
And, as a bonus, you can use your eBook as the ultimate lead magnet.

#2. Use content from your blog post to create a lead magnet or opt in
The next tip to repurpose your blog content is to create a lead magnet or opt in related to your article topic.
There are plenty of formats your lead magnet can take on, from cheat sheets and checklists to guides and swipe files.
It can even be an expanded list like Get more website traffic
There are plenty of options for organizing your content in a lead magnet, and plenty of incentive to do it.
If you do it right — making the right offer to the right audience — you could convert 42% of your readers and entice them to opt-in to your lead magnet.
This is exactly what I did when I reformatted a few successful blog posts into several downloadable lead magnet versions and courses here.
More specifically, as you read my popular How to Sell Digital Products With No Tech blog post, you can opt to download a bonus formula (a.k.a., my lead magnet) by clicking on my call-to-action (CTA) that appears in the middle of my post.
Once you click on the opt-in link, a pop up appears which is a way to capture more readers and hopefully get their email address.
10 Tactics To Create Your Ultimate Lead Magnet
As far as the content inside my bonus lead magnet, my downloadable formula is a PDF version of the blog post with five extra links not included in the original post.
So as you can see, it doesn’t take a ton of extra work at all to create a lead magnet from a blog post.
Little touches can go a long way, making lead magnets an ideal option if you’re looking to expand your readership or build an email list like the pros.
Speaking of like the pros, for creators who excel at writing and prefer to publish blog posts above other mediums, our next idea for repurposing blog posts is a perfect fit.
#3. Repurpose your blog content for a guest post
A third way to repurpose your blog articles is to pitch your published article topics as guest posts to other relevant blogs.
This is a great way to expand your reach and build your readership.
Why Your Blog Needs Guest Posts
An important point to remember is to differentiate your guest content to different publications by switching up the title.
For instance, I wrote a guest article called “How to Leverage Social Media With No Followers” on USA Journal . . .
And repurposed the content for another guest post on Entertainment Weekly titled, “How to Gain Thousands of Followers on Social Media Organically”
An important point to remember – when guest posting always always keep your article tailored to the niche of the publication and not overly promotional.
This will make your content stand out from the rest because, most editors think guest content is too promotional, and 56% say the content isn’t a good fit for their readers.
I can’t tell you how many times I receive requests for guest posts that have nothing at all to do with the niche of my blog! I’m not going to publish an article about sporting equipment for example, when I write about blog posting and social media etc.
I recommend offering up to 5 guest posts per month to get any relevant traffic to your blog. You will see a difference! You can increase your organic traffic by up to 300%!
Promote Other Bloggers To Increase Your Traffic
If you can manage to squeeze in the extra time to write a few monthly guest posts, the benefits are worthwhile, especially if you guest post on blogs with a larger audience than yours.
The main takeaway is to expand your audience reach by converting your blog content into guest posts on blogs that share a relevant audience to yours.
Next let’s discuss how to expand your content creation beyond writing posts.
#4. Create a podcast from your blog content
Our next way to repurpose your blog content is to make a podcast out of it.
Podcasts are super popular now and no wonder. They are an ideal format for capturing your audience’s attention. After all, an impressive 80% of podcast listeners listen to an entire episode or most of a podcast episode.
On top of that, once someone becomes a podcast fan, they’re typically hooked on the format, with podcast listeners listening to an average of seven different shows per week.
So, if you want to get your message across to a captive audience, podcasts are a great way to go.

If you’re thinking this means overwhelming yourself with yet another content channel to maintain, not necessarily so.
Turning your blog content into a podcast doesn’t mean you have to start your OWN podcast. You can pitch your topic to relevant podcasts in your niche and be a guest.
You could be a guest on not just one, but multiple podcast shows and episodes.

#5. Use your blog content to publish a video
This is undeniably the hottest tip to repurpose blog posts. Turn them into videos that feature important snippets of info from your content.

Tackling video is a vital means of growing your reach and even if you’re behind the times, there’s no better time than now to start your video venture.

#6. Transform your blog post into an infographic
The sixth method to repurpose your blog posts is to pull key data, points, and information from your blog post and piece together a stunning infographic.
It’s an ideal format for driving your blog article’s main points home.
Wondering if the design effort is worth it? It’s a fair question, and the answer is a resounding yes, especially if you want your content to be easily consumed.
In fact, infographics are nearly 30 times more likely to be read than an article.
This perk of using visual content is increasingly catching on, too, with 74% of marketers using visuals in more than 70% of their content, which is a 10.5% increase in usage from the year prior.
You don’t have to be an advanced designer to create an infographic, either, if you use tools like Visme or Canva!

They even have animated designs! Easily drag and drop or swap out design elements with tailored pieces of data and content from your blog post. No previous design knowledge needed!

The next strategy is for you people who are talented presenters. Here’s a format for you to consider for repurposing your blog content – creating a webinar.
#7. Convert your blog post to a webinar
A very popular tip to repurpose your blog content is to convert it to a webinar.
Whether you want to sell webinars themselves or use a webinar to sell one of your other profitable digital products, webinars are a solid way to strengthen your brand.
Easily Create a Webinar With Podia HERE
You can add your webinar to your product page in the same way you would add any of your other digital products by simply heading to your “products” tab and clicking “new product”. A modal pops up, where you select “webinar,” name your webinar, and hit “create & continue”.
And that’s all it takes to get your webinar up for sale. Of course, it’s worth noting this is one of the unique benefits of using Podia, so you may not have the same ease on other platforms.
But don’t let my bias persuade you — if you don’t have a platform for managing your digital products, check out for yourself how streamlined the process is using this 2-week free trial.
To repurpose blog posts and create your webinar, take the main points from your article and create a slide presentation to illustrate it. You can use tools like Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint to design your accompanying slide deck.
Like with any great piece of content, focus on helping your audience reach their desired result through your webinar.
As far as presenting your content, a big webinar hosting mistake to avoid is coming off as too salesy.
So, if you think you’re encroaching a salesy personality during your presentation, chances are, you’re probably too pushy.
Finally, if you’re planning to schedule a live webinar event, aim for a Thursday, since that appears to be the best day to attract live attendees.
Bonus!
Use live streaming to boost your content across 30 platforms all at one time! Think you can’t be in 30 places at once?
Well you can and Restream helps to make it happen. Live streaming is the hottest way to ensure that your content gets seen across the 30 networks without you having to do more work!
