Learn the best way to make money from anywhere with this ClickBank affiliate marketing tutorial.
ClickBank is one of the most popular online websites for buying and selling information products. On this platform you can find email marketing software, audio books, Home and Garden Products, Health and Beauty, Parenting, Education, Self Help and just about anything that you can imagine. This blog post tutorial is how to make money through affiliate marketing with ClickBank products.
What is ClickBank?
ClickBank is an online global marketplace for digital products. Thousands of people sell their digital products through Clickbank which gives you the opportunity to promote them and earn a wonderful living online doing so.
This post contains affiliate links. Please read my disclaimer for details.
You can sell other people’s products on ClickBank. If you send someone to a sales page connected to ClickBank, and that person buys an item, you get a commission on that sale—this is called affiliate marketing.
Basically the customer purchasing the product gets charged no extra money for making the purchase from you, you have no products to store or ship and you get to recommend merchants that you personally like and do business with yourself. It’s a win/win situation for all involved and this is one of the reasons affiliate marketing is so popular and lucrative a business.

How to Succeed & Profit with Affiliate Marketing
This post focuses only on ClickBank which is one of the top major affiliate marketing programs in the world.
Making money from ClickBank affiliate marketing is so easy, they’ve dubbed it ‘passive income’, so keep reading my blog post and follow my advice to get started with the step-by-step videos.
Step 1: Choose Your Niche
Create a Useful Website Promoting ClickBank Products
- Create a blog to promote your ClickBank product.
- Fill your blog with articles that are useful and related to your product of choice. E.g., if you wanted to sell a self-help product, you would create a self-help blog.
- EXAMPLE: My blog earns thousands of dollars each year and was created using Brand Builders Pre-Made Websites
- Create a review of your chosen ClickBank product and post it to your blog.
- Try and funnel your visitors towards this review. i.e. internally backlink to the review and pin it as the top post on your blog homepage.

Resources
You can buy your own web hosting and web design from a number of different providers.
I personally recommend Bluehost and Siteground. I’ve tried both and both companies provide superior customer service, super-fast speed at low, reasonable rates.
I typically never recommend using free web hosting solutions, because you don’t technically own your website and can potentially lose what you’ve built at any time.
It is definitely worth investing a relatively small amount of money to use a paid web hosting service.

Paragraph: Sell ClickBank Products with Paid Traffic
- Google will display its favorite results for free (organic listings). But you can bypass this and be displayed at the top of the results if you pay (Google AdWords).
- Use the Jaaxy Keyword Planner to find keywords relevant to your chosen ClickBank product.
- Create ads and buy ad space for those keywords in Google AdWords. Redirect this traffic to your product review on your blog.

- You cannot directly link users to the sales page with your affiliate link, so directing them to the review page on your website is a good idea for a landing page.
Conversion Rates
Your conversion rate is the percentage of order form visits that become purchases. It depends on many different factors:
- Where is your traffic coming from? (Free vs paid, warm vs cold)
- How well does your audience know, like, and trust you? This can have a huge impact on your conversion rate.
- Conversion rates can vary widely, even among products in the same niche. Things like sales copy, pricing, page layout, and vendor reputation can have a big impact on how many Hops (or steps) it takes to convert a sale.
Because there are so many different factors that can affect conversion, there is no way to tell how many Hops/Steps it takes to lead to a sale. For some affiliates it may only take a few steps, whereas others may take hundreds or more.
