Chat GPT is an AI bot that can do pretty much everything. Chat GPT is made by OpenAI and trained on trillions of words from the Internet. It is smart enough to understand human language and produce human-like responses as well.
Chat GPT is the real game changer for content creators and businesses alike. It is predicted to kill businesses soon that don’t change or adapt. It can help you with countless things such as preparing a wellness plan, a business model, writing a novel, doing your research work, creating complex weekly schedules and a lot more.

ChatGPT is a variant of the GPT-3 language model that has been optimized for conversational text. ChatGPT is designed to generate human-like responses to the text input in a way that is similar to a conversation.
Because it is a variant of GPT-3, it is also a large, powerful language model that has been trained on a vast amount of text data.
ChatGPT is capable of understanding and responding to a wide range of inputs and can provide helpful and informative answers to many questions.
In the same breath, it is equally important to know what are the limitations and things ChatGPT can’t do and explore various ChatGPT alternatives in the market.
Can ChatGPT Take Over Google?
Well, let me start with a real-life example which answered this question for me.
A colleague tried to use it, to do their assignment. This reminded me of my university days when without google most of us would have struggled. This clearly was easily and swiftly replaced by ChatGPT.
1 – ChatGPT can help you with copying, pasting or summarizing articles for blogs, magazines and even students’ homework.
2 – ChatGPT can write scripts or code for you. It can even answer more qualitative questions such as, “what is the best way to loop in a program?”
3 – ChatGTP can help you with more complex planning. It can create a schedule for you ahead of time by keeping all pros & cons in consideration and suggest the best way forward.
Here is another example where a user asked Google and ChatGPT questions on the differential equations and ChatGPT blew google out of the water.
However, who better to answer ‘can ChatGPT replace Google’ than ChatGTP?
Is ChatGPT trying to go after Google?
Yes, it is clear that is where OpenAI’s is aiming to be with Sam Altman’s (CEO of OpenAI) quote from part of the interview below, that they are going after disrupting google.
Now whether OpenAI manages to do it or some other company or Google themselves – remains to be seen!
“I don’t think we’ve yet seen the kind of like people who go after the trillion dollar like take on Google’s and I think that’s about to happen. Maybe it’ll be successful maybe Google will do it themselves but I would guess that with the quality of language models we’ll see in the coming years. Where is AI development heading in the future, for AI startups?
With OpenAI becoming more and more user-friendly and easily accessible by end users.
If you don’t have millions of dollars to do your own R&D and build this support everything kind of few know big Ai models, how would you survive?
Well the good news is that the Generative Ai space is just getting started there is less than single-digit market penetration and use cases increasing day by day there is no end in sight on what could be done.
However, in order to survive this competitive industry here are a few ways one can differentiate and even become a unicorn in space of Ai startups.
Differentiation on the middle layer
It is likely that there will be a small number of fundamental large language models that other people will build upon in the future.
At present, companies make large language model APIs and other people build on top of them.
There will also be a middle layer that becomes important in the future which is deeper domain details. Whether it’s coding, content creation, medical diagnosis, and so forth.

It is likely that all of these models as a service will become commoditized in the future.
The real value will lie in finding proprietary sources of data that can be used to train these models on all these different domains. Machine learning and AI can be broken down into two components: training and inference.
Training involves learning from data, while inference involves using the model to generate output in real-time.
The key to success in this field will be identifying unique and proprietary sources of data that can be used to train the models.
For example, a company that builds a model to detect tumors may gain a competitive advantage by vertically integrating and gaining access to patient data that is unique to them.
However, while ChatGPT is an interesting example of a language model, it is not yet capable of solving the most complex and challenging problems. It will take time and continued development to reach that level of capability.
IBM’s Watson, Google’s LaMDA, and many other probably already does what ChatGPT does and more however the popularity of OpenAI is its easy accessibility and applicability by being relevant as well as easy to use for non-technical users.

What are the things ChatGPT can’t do?
As a language model, ChatGPT is not capable of performing actions or carrying out tasks. It is purely a tool for generating text, and it does not have any inherent capabilities beyond its ability to generate human-like responses to text inputs.

Nothing is perfect, but it’s just the beginning.
It may give you awkward answers at times but will certainly get better with time – Sky is the limit when it comes to AI.

Is ChatGPT the End of Google?
The simple answer is – NO.
ChatGPT is helpful in a manner that makes you feel as if you are talking to an expert of the matter. You don’t have to filter through pages as in the case of Google.
Google still holds its value and importance as it is designed to provide a list of relevant web links in response to a query. In this way you can decide yourself which search result suits you the best instead of the bot doing that on its own.
So, the chatbot can’t as of yet be compared with Google but possibly in the future.
